Ingredients:

  • 200g of boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 100g of dairy-free cheese shreds
  • 2 large whole wheat wraps
  • A handful of lettuce, chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, diced

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Skillet
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Instructions:

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season the chicken breast with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and oregano.
  • Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Then, add the sliced chicken back to the skillet and toss well to combine.
  • Sprinkle the dairy-free cheese shreds over the chicken and let it melt slightly as it cooks for another minute.
  • Take the whole wheat wrap and layer it with chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheesy garlic chicken on top.
  • Fold the wrap tightly and slice it in half to serve.
