Black Bean Pasta Salad

Ingredients:
- 150g of whole wheat pasta
- 1 can (400g) of black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 medium bell pepper, diced
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 100g of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 30g of fresh cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of lime juice
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Kitchen Tools Needed:

- colander

Instructions:
- Cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain using a colander and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rinsed black beans, diced bell pepper, chopped red onion, halved cherry tomatoes, and chopped cilantro.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, cumin, salt, and pepper to create a dressing.
- Add the cooked pasta to the mixing bowl with the vegetables and black beans, then pour the dressing over the top.
- Toss everything together until well combined. Adjust seasoning if necessary and serve cold.
